Aaron Nousaine, MCRP | Principal

With more than 15 years of experience in urban economics consulting and development advisory services, Aaron plays a key role in serving BAE’s northern California clients and provides technical and project management support for clients throughout the nation. 

Aaron specializes in real estate economics and development advisory services, including an emphasis on affordable and workforce housing needs assessments and financial feasibility analysis.  He often leads BAE’s work on some of the highest-profile and complex real estate developments projects and governmental programs in California.  

Aaron also has expertise in economic and fiscal impacts modeling and preparation of economic development strategic plans.  His work spans the full breadth of the development process, from needs assessments and demand analyses, through financial feasibility and cash flow modeling, to negotiation support and public-private partnership deal structuring. 

With roots in BAE’s Sacramento Region office in Davis, Aaron currently lives in the Town of Truckee, near North Lake Tahoe.  He is passionate about the economics of rural mountain communities, particularly as it relates to the intersection of workforce housing, economic resilience, and community vibrancy.  Aaron is a member of the American Planning Association (APA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).  He holds a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences, specializing in Political Economy, from CSU Monterey Bay, and an MCRP from UNC Chapel Hill.
