Sherry Okun-Rudnak, MA, LEED-AP | Principal
Sherry Okun-Rudnak leads projects across BAE offices. She specializes in providing practical real estate development advisory services, economic development support, market studies, financial feasibility analyses, and economic impacts analyses to BAE’s clients.
Sherry is leading BAE’s assignments in providing market and housing services to the cities of Woodstock, Villa Rica, and Winder, GA as part of their downtown master plans. As part of this assignment, she is evaluating market conditions and housing needs, as well as identifying opportunities for placemaking and catalytic development.
Sherry recently led an Equitable TOD analysis for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), in Atlanta, GA. MARTA is planning to develop a new transit line. As part of this effort, Sherry conducted a market analysis and prepared development feasibility testing to promote development policies that minimize displacement of existing residents and support local job creation.
She also recently assisted the City of Long Beach in negotiating its P3 Civic Center including a new City Hall, Port Headquarters, Main Library, Lincoln Park, and new private development. She is currently assisting the City of Burbank in negotiating a new Downtown Library, open space, and housing.
Sherry has lectured on real estate market analysis for the ULI Real Estate School, and is an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Policy Studies. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute's Urban Revitalization Council.
