Emerson Goodrich | Analyst

Emerson Goodrich is an Analyst at BAE’s Berkeley office, and brings a background in research, geospatial analysis, and community engagement. Emerson provides demographic, economic, and real estate market research to support various projects across BAE’s offices. She is currently assembling data and reports in support of an Economic Development Element for the West San Gabriel Valley and a Specific Plan in the City of Burlingame.  She has also conducted research on impact fees to inform affordable housing fee studies for the Cities of Los Altos and Campbell in California and provided an analysis of housing affordability to inform a housing plan in Solano County, California. 

Prior to joining BAE, Emerson worked as a Research Assistant at the Brown University Population Studies & Training Center where she developed GIS and data resources to study redlining, urban sprawl, and patterns of neighborhood change. She also contributed to additional projects within the Taubman Center for American Politics & Policy and the Brown School of Public Health as a Research Assistant. She has also worked as a Program Coordinator for a non-profit and been involved in community-engaged research on the impacts of redlining and climate change in Rhode Island neighborhoods.

Emerson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in International and Public Affairs from Brown University and served as Captain of the Brown Women’s Varsity Rugby team.
