Forecast of Napa hotel growth brings housing worries
BAE Urban Economics is in the news for its City of Napa Hospitality Worker Housing Demand analysis. Working with Cushman Wakefield hotel demand forecasts, BAE reviewed the availability of local labor and access to affordable housing to determine the impacts of new Napa hotels on local housing needs.
In response to the analysis, City Council is weighing policies for increasing TOT to be used for affordable housing programs.
